Albino Miranda, Lda. is a Portuguese company based in Barcelos that has more than 35 years of experience in the decoration sector, producing furniture in the most varied types of materials. In its facilities, Albino Miranda, Lda. combines a production area of 4000 m² with a team of 39 highly responsible and qualified professionals.
At Albino Miranda, Lda., production is directed to products or components in fiberglass, however, we are largely requested for our finishing, logistical support and delivery and general assembly services. Externally and using a network of more than 100 partners in the most diverse areas, we acquire products or components such as wood, upholstery, metals, marble, glass and other materials not directed to our production, but which allow us to respond to any customer need, simplifying the entire process. As any component is transported, finished and assembled by us indoors, we ensure that the highest quality standards and the necessary support are respected for any problem that may eventually arise.
At Albino Miranda, Lda. we work for more than 40 countries, not just Portugal. Our commercial and technical team guarantees all the necessary support so that the customer's project/product is understood and produced with the greatest possible accuracy. The logistics of delivery and assembly are, as a general rule, the responsibility of the customer in countries other than Portugal, however, there is the possibility of negotiating with our commercial responsible for the respective market for possible support in this aspect.
The Furniture
At Albino Miranda, Lda., production is directed to products or components in fiberglass, however, using a vast network of highly qualified external partners, we can respond to materials such as wood veneers, marbles, glass, mirrors, upholstery, metals, etc. In our facilities we also have carpentry and finishing chambers for matte or high-gloss lacquered work, polishing, application of unique textures, artistic paintings, gold leaf, etc.
Yes, at Albino Miranda, Lda. we are able to respond to all kinds of needs. From dining/coffee tables, sideboards, consoles, panels, mirrors, sofas, armchairs, lamps, etc., there is no limit to our production capacity.
Yes, at Albino Miranda, Lda. we give total freedom to the customer to produce with us the piece in its entirety or only partially.

Yes, at Albino Miranda, Lda. we are constantly contacted for special requests, where there is only one idea or inspiration for which it is necessary to develop samples for approval. Whether it's unique finishes/textures, woods, simple lacquers, etc., we provide all the tools so that there are no doubts when ordering.
Orders and Returns
As we do not have a physical store, the most convenient methods are:

No, all custom-made furniture can be sold individually.
At Albino Miranda, Lda. we give an estimated production time of 7 or 8 weeks, varying depending on the product(s) ordered, stock availability and quantities, and this period can be improved or aggravated depending on them. Delivery time is not contemplated and must be consulted on a case-by-case basis depending on the order and place of delivery. This information is merely an estimate and will be evaluated concretely by the responsible sales representative and the order in question.
Payment is made by bank transfer, requiring an initial deposit of 40% of the total amount to start production, and the remaining 60% up to 3 days before the date of shipment. Bulky or extremely complex orders require an initial deposit of 50%. Payments in installments or cash on delivery are not accepted.
First orders cannot be started until the initial deposit has been received. For recurring customers where it is verified that the data is being correctly entered and that the payment method is within the validity period, and that the problem is related to the bank in question, the order will begin and an additional 3 working days will be granted for the situation to be rectified. Orders will never be shipped without full regularization of the values, and they will be stored and owned by the customer for 2 months until their regularization. At the end of this time, Albino Miranda, Lda. reserves the right to discard or sell them to third parties with total loss of the initial deposit made by the client.
Our prices/quotes exclude VAT, so this tax must be added to the final price.
Cancellations with the right to a refund will only be possible if production has not yet started, otherwise the customer's deposit will be deducted in accordance with the current state of production. Changes in finishes are always possible as long as the product has not entered this process. In the change of materials (wood, marble, etc.), it will only be possible if their production has not yet started, otherwise the customer is responsible for the cost of the material that has been discarded, in addition to the new one.
There are three possible scenarios for delivery issues, with different resolutions:
1 - Problem caused by the freight forwarder during the transport of the products: In this case, the insurance can be activated if it has been contracted by the customer, and it is proven that such a problem happened during transport. It is essential for the customer to take a photographic record of the entire process, from the delivery of the goods to their unpacking. Any visible damage to the packaging (wooden box or other) must be immediately reported to the carrier with the intention of making a written claim. Written proof of the claim and photographic proof of the damaged packaging must be communicated by email to Albino Miranda, Lda. within 48 hours of delivery, to
2 - Problem caused during assembly by teams hired by the customer: If it is proven that the technical instructions of Albino Miranda, Lda., were not followed, and that there was negligence on the part of the assembly team, there is no refund or insurance and the repair costs are borne by the customer, being, however, Albino Miranda, Lda. fully available to help resolve the situation;
3 - Problem or error in production by Albino Miranda, Lda.: If the external packaging of the product is intact, and it has internal damage that is proven to have been caused during its production, or differences in finish/size from those ordered by the customer, the Product Warranty may be triggered;
The refund of payments can be made by the same payment method used at the time of the order (if this is possible) or by transfer to the bank account indicated by the customer for this purpose. In any case, Albino Miranda, Lda. may withhold the refund until it has received the returned products, namely for the purpose of verifying their condition.
Shipments and Assemblies
Yes, we export to all countries using specialized companies that can be hired by us or by the customer.
At Albino Miranda, Lda. we ship all over the world, using transport companies to make deliveries, however, except for mainland Portugal, the placement/assembly of the parts is the responsibility of the customer, who must follow the instructions provided by Albino Miranda, Lda. Exceptions may arise when we are contracted to assemble in countries other than Portugal, upon prior approval of a budget and availability for work. In mainland Portugal we have our own transport and a highly qualified assembly team, and we can be hired for this service whose costs are not included in the price and will be budgeted according to the order and place of delivery. The customer also has total freedom to contract the transport and assembly to the companies of his choice, leaving its quality to his responsibility.

Yes, at Albino Miranda, Lda. we offer special conditions to architects, interior decorators and showrooms to remain competitive in the market.
At Albino Miranda, Lda. our main goal is to serve the customer in the simplest and most uncomplicated way possible. In requests for quotations, as long as we have an image/draft of the intended product, maximum dimensions, quantities and materials/finishes will be enough to send the proposal. If you order a quote that requires more detailed information, we will prepare the necessary technical drawings and send them for approval, clarifying any doubts that may exist. Only after its evaluation and approval will production begin, thus minimizing errors and optimizing the entire process.
Yes, at Albino Miranda, Lda. we have all the conditions to carry out a decoration project from start to finish:
1- Pre-production (Design): Our team of designers is able to provide support from 2D plans, to 3D modeling and rendering, according to the client's needs;
2- Pre-production (Solutions): We have at the customer's disposal catalogs and samples of the most varied materials, such as fabrics, woods, marbles, textures, etc., as well as inspirational images/photographs that will help in decision making and solve any unknowns;
3- Production: Our production capacity and the network of partners in the most diverse areas with whom we work allow us to cover all the needs of a decoration project, whether furniture, curtains, carpets, wallpapers, lighting, etc.;
4- Delivery and assembly: To close the project with a flourish, we also have at the customer's disposal and in mainland Portugal a highly qualified delivery and assembly team that will ensure that the products are installed with the utmost rigor and care. We can also, with some exceptions, provide assembly service on the islands of Madeira or Azores, or other countries, upon prior evaluation/budgeting, availability of the team and logistics of the order in question;
Yes, at Albino Miranda, Lda., in addition to tailor-made and exclusive solutions for each project, we also develop many collections for customers. Whether produced totally or partially, with us you will have not only options of finishes and textures that transcend the ordinary, but also a production capacity that will respond to even the boldest collections, fully respecting the customer's privacy and an above-average quality standard.
All molds developed by Albino Miranda, Lda. are its property, for the exclusive use of the customer who purchased them, and at no time can they be removed from its facilities or altered by the customer. If the collection is cancelled or does not produce the previously agreed results, Albino Miranda, Lda. reserves the right to destroy or recycle them without prior notice.
1- Minimum: Minimum production quantities are highly influenced by the type of products to be executed. Small products such as side tables and/or small components may have a minimum production of 5 or 10 units, while products such as large sofas may have unit orders;
2- Maximum: Each mold has a different lifespan, also depending on the type of products to be executed and how it was produced. Small products such as side tables or components can allow a production of more than 100 units until it is necessary to repair or produce a new mold, unlike large products such as dining tables, sofas, etc., whose useful life can be around 20 to 30 units. As such, Albino Miranda, Lda. reserves the right to evaluate with the client each specific case, according to the complexity of the product to be executed and the production method of the mold to be adopted;
